I know King Cake is traditional, but I don't think I can resist this New Orleans Bread Pudding.

Traditional New Orleans Pralines for party favors.

  1. I entered to host a Mardi Gras House Party, I didn't get it, Im happy you did, it will be a lot of fun! I love Mardi Gras!!! I lived in Louisiana right in the heart of Cajun Country for about 6 years and I loved it! yes I have had a Mardi Gras party or two or three lol The King Cake with cinnamon is traditional, They make them with a filling too, such as cheescake, or chocolate they are so good and don't forget the doll! Have you ever tried cajun turducken? it's really good and there is nothing better then Boudin mmmm it looks kinds scary lol but it is really good, you should check it out, Have Fun!

    1. I hope you'll be chosen for another House Party you'll enjoy. The Dole one looked great too. Yep, if I do a King Cake I'll definitely have the doll inside. I don't think I'm brave enough for Turducken. LOL!
